Account Managers (AMs) can profitably resell OpenEntry hosting & services, especially in countries where international credit cards don't work
OpenEntry is eager to partner with entities that want to take an active role in providing a full range of e-commerce services to enterprises in their communities by becoming OpenEntry Account Managers (AMs). Good candidates for AMs are chambers of commerce, trade promotion organizations, technical
training institutes, IT firms, telecenters, and Internet cafes. Besides providing valuable e-commerce services to their clients, AMs can establish revenue streams from conducting e-commerce training based on OpenEntry, offering local user support, creating custom templates, operating metamarkets, and renting computers & digital cameras.
AMs can play a very important role in countries where credit cards can not be used for international transactions by collecting the payments for accounts in local currency and then making a consolidated payment in dollars to OpenEntry.
The way it works is as follows:
- The prospective AM contacts the OpenEntry User Support Manager (Surendra Shahi - sshahi@OpenEntry.com) to negotiate a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to become an AM and receive the key for the advanced version of OpenEntry that normally costs $100.
- The AM purchases a small value ($500 - $1000) of credits for OpenEntry hosting and services that are the only cash investment required to get started.
- The AM sells OpenEntry hosting accounts to their clients or Members - charging $200 for basic 100 product hosting plus the $100 advanced key (that OpenEntry has supplied to the AM for free). Upon collecting the payment for an account, the AM would activate it by e-mailing the User Support Manager (Surendra Shahi - sshahi@OpenEntry.com) requesting that he debit $100 from the credits in their account.
- Business networks that have a metamarket could charge their Members an additional $100-200/yr to participate.
- With the revenue from the user payments to the AM, they can purchase more credits from OpenEntry. At every $1000, OpenEntry deposits an extra $100 (10%) bonus in their account.
- For every $10,000, OpenEntry deposits an extra $1000 bonus (20% total).
- For every $100,000, OpenEntry deposits an extra $10,000 bonus (30% total).
Therefore an AM that purchases $100,000 in credits cumulatively over any period (with only a small cash investment) will get $130,000 worth of credits that they can resell to their clients or Members for at least twice that ammount ($160,000+ profit). They could also supply (for an additional fee of course) training, technical assistance, and design services while they also charge their members for participating in their metamarket.
